Biography

My husband & I live on a farm near Esther, Alberta. We have two children, our son Travis lives close by and also farms and a daughter, Trina who lives and works in Calgary. Some of my hobbies include gardening, golfing, baking, reading and going for long walks.

My how the years fly by! I have celebrated many good years at New Brigden School. As time has passed by so have many changes since I first started my job as secretary/librarian. From typewriters to computers, from a manual bell to an automatic buzzer system, from a duplicator to a Xerox machine, from dial up telephones to push button phones and fax machines. The latest improvement has been our library which was automated connecting all school libraries within our school division. Throughout the years many improvements have been made and it would be interesting to know what is yet to come.
